Walter Richard Bailey Jr

Walter Richard Bailey Jr passed from this world on October 15, 2021 in Sun City, Ca. He went to California to visit his daughter and to attend his sister’s Jeanette funeral three years ago and remain there. Walter was a resident of Bangs, Texas for nearly 20 years. He was a house painter by trade and was proud to say that he painted many of the Sonic franchises in northern Texas and Oklahoma.

Walter was married three times to Aleane in 1958, Mary in 1973, and Bennetta in 1998. He is the father of nine. Walter was preceded in death by his father and mother, Walter Richard Bailey Sr and Mary Bailey, his brothers Lawrence and Willie, sisters Gwen, Sally, and Jeanette, wives Aleane and Mary, and son Richard Alexander. He is survived by his brothers David, Leslie, Roland, sister Robin and daughters Deborah and husband Keith Calip, Phyllis DeSilva, Jane Bailey, Charlotte Frazier, Cynthia Bailey, and Chasity Bailey. Sons Alonzo Bailey and wife Tanya and Lorenzo Bailey. Grandchildren Bennie Frazier, John Taylor, Michael Bailey, Christopher DeSilva, Langston Williams, Danielle Williams, Jaylin Nichols, Kyree Siqueiros, Kaylonnie Gilmore, Brianna Court, Aliyah Bailey, Jocelyn Bailey, Keshana Bailey and eight great grandchildren.
