Virginia "Ginny" Ann Wagner, age 94, of Green Valley, Arizona passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Virginia was born in August, 1928 in California to Doyle and Anna Smith, both of whom preceded her in passing.
Ginny married the love of her life William Robert "Bob" Wagner in 1951, and they were married for 52 years until Bob's passing in 2004. Together they travelled extensively, exploring the United States and much of Europe, and raised three children. Ginny is survived by her daughters Jeannie Greven (Erwin), Mary Anne Wagner, and her son Chris Wagner (Lei).
Ginny had a long career as an educator in San Bernardino, California. She touched many hearts and helped to shape many minds for the extent of her career. In her retirement, she was a talented and avid cross stitcher, decorating her home with counted cross stitch projects so skilled they could be taken for photographs. Ginny is remembered for her love of cats, and created a home for many of her furry companions over the years.
Ginny's memory is fondly held in the hearts of her family, and community. She will be deeply missed.
