Scott Hoffmann entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2022 after a sudden and brief illness and with his family by his side. Scott was born on March 1st, 1958 in Milwaukee, WI. Scott was preceded in death by his parents Ray Hoffmann and Jo Hoffmann. Scott is survived by his adult children, Emily (Chris) Winters and Jay Hoffmann, Yoli – his life partner of 25 years, sisters, Jodi Montano (Pete) and Paula Goetz (Jeff). Also survived by nieces, nephews, 4 stepchildren and 8 step-grandchildren. His best friend’s Ted Steelman and Scott Breuer. Scott was a veteran, proudly served in the United States Navy, upon his discharge, Scott attended the University of Arizona. Scott’s love of his children was well known, he spoke highly and proudly of them and their accomplishments. Scott was employed by Farmers Insurance Group as a Claims Adjuster for 30 years, he also worked at the Reyna Law Firm, Target Distribution Center and Hobby Lobby.
Scott loved football, an avid Green Bay Packers fan, he enjoyed life to the fullest, dancing and listening to his music. Scott was retired, had recently made plans to buy an RV and travel, his bucket list included visiting Lambeau Field and other sites throughout the country. Scott loved to garden, planting flowers throughout the year, reading the newspaper, doing the cross-word puzzle and watching The Price is Right daily. He enjoyed puzzles, reading a good book with his companions Max and Magoo by his side. Madera Canyon – Kubo Cabins was a favorite place to go yearly. He taught his niece Lindsay and his grandson Gabriel, Jr. how to play Cribbage and Careers. He always had a joke for you, he loved conversation and telling his grandkids stories. He enjoyed taking his grandkids on adventures and visiting with them. We will miss his silly jokes, his smile, his laughter and his love of the holidays. He was a perfectionist when wrapping gifts, he enjoyed it to the fullest, refusing to give a gift in a bag. His last family vacation to Rocky Point in October would be his last adventure. We love you, we will miss you and we will never forget you.
