The “life of the party” and a great friend to many will now be shining brighter from above.

Rita “Sara” Bejarano, age 67, passed away in her home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. She was born to Gabriel Celaya Bejarano and Sarah Bejarano on February 21, 1951 and raised by her grandparents, Felipe Bejarano and Delfina Celaya Bejarano, after her mother passed away six months later.

She leaves behind her brother Edward, three children: Adelina, Patricia, and Enrique, six grandchildren: Claryssa, Jesus, Kelsey, Alexandra, Victoria, and Santiago, one great-grandchild – Xander, and a nephew, Michael, along with many friends and family. Sara was a single mother of three of her own children and a “surrogate mother” to many. Throughout her career she was a cosmetologist, a barber, and a bartender.

She was known for her spirited personality, caring heart, and sense of humor.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6th, 2018 from 4-9 pm at Funeraria de Angel on 7 E. University Blvd (University/Stone)

Sara will be laid to final rest with her mother at Holy Hope Cemetery
