Proceeded into death by his sister Marta Gaitan.
Ricardo is survived by his parents Ricardo Gaitan Sr. and Antonia Gaitan, sisters Virginia and Linda Gaitan and brother Jaime Gaitan. His children Ricardo Gaitan III and Carlos Gaitan, and Delinah Gaitan, grandchildren Alexis, Angelina, Tatiana, Evy (Ricardo) Alessandra, Vicente (Carlos) Jazmyn, Jazlyn, Jaclyn (Delinah). Niece Aria and Nephews Frank and Atticus. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Ricardo was a Marine Corp Veteran, who loved his job at Raytheon. Ricardo will be remembered for many things, but mostly for the love he had for his family and the family gatherings he created. For his love of watching old western movies and cartoons with his grandkids.
He will be deeply loved and missed.
A public visitation for Ricardo will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral will follow from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Military honors and graveside will follow in the cemetery from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
