Norman Matthew Tarr passed away August 11th 2014 in Tucson, AZ. Norman(George) was born in Oil City, PA on October 11th 1959 to Rose Ann(Albaugh) and Norman Charles Tarr. Norman is survived by his wife Connie of Tucson,AZ; daughter Crystal of Tucson,AZ, his pride and joy grandson Zachary Kelley of Tucson,AZ and his yorkie companion Zoe. When George was a young boy he and his family moved to Arizona. This is where he’d later marry into a family whom George became a huge part of. George was a comedian to most who knew him. Never taking life to serious. He was a kind and giving soul who gave back whenever he could. Always thinking of himself last. George is survived by his sister Cynthia(David) of Cave Creek,AZ, his sister Ruth of Seneca,PA; his sister Carol of Phoenix,AZ; his brother David of El Mirage,AZ; his sister Mary of Phoenix,AZ; his sister Pamela of Phoenix,AZ, his sister Karen of Phoenix,AZ; his sister Lynda(Ted) of Pepperell,MA; his brother Tim of Phoenix,AZ; his sister Beverly of Peoria,AZ and his brother Thomas of Peoria,AZ. George is also survived by his mother-n-law Dolly Swanson, 16 in-laws, 37 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Norman, his mother Rose, his father-n-law Bill Swanson, sister-n-law Mary, his niece Elizabeth and his nephew KC.
At the request of George there will be no viewing or funeral. There will be a celebration of his life at the Strauss Manor on Pantano (370 N. Pantano Rd, Tucson,AZ 85710) on Sunday August 17th from 2-5. Family and friends are welcome.
