Nancy, also known as Nancy Causbie, was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband John, sister Susan (Mark), children: Julie (Jeff), EJ (Debbie), Steve, Susan (John), 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Nancy also had many cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished her dearly.
Nancy's nurturing and motherly nature made her everyone's best friend. She was known for her intelligence and was always there to lend a helping hand. Nancy's deep love for the arts led her to become a founding member of Ballet Tucson, where she served as the company treasurer. She also dedicated 30 years as the office manager for a Tucson McDonald's Franchisee. Nancy's passion for dance extended beyond Ballet Tucson, as she was a founding board member of Arizona Dance Theatre and a board member of Tucson Metropolitan Ballet Company.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed tending to her beautiful rose garden and caring for the family tortoise. She was a familiar face backstage at the ballet, always supporting and encouraging those around her. Nancy's warm hugs were a testament to her loving nature and made everyone feel special.
A memorial service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held on July 26, 2023, at East Lawn Palms, starting at 10:00 AM. Following the service, a light snack will be provided. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Ballet Tucson in Nancy's name.
Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to the arts. Her memory will forever be held dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
