I was in a bowling league with Mike and Jon for many years. I'll always remember the fun we had drinking Dos Equis and bowling (in that order lol). We enjoyed quoting movie lines, talking sports, and just being in each others company. Almost every night after bowling we would go and get a late night dinner at On the Border or IHOP. I will cherish these memories forever.   


Mike was one in a million.  We spent years as work colleagues, but more importantly, as friends.  Mike was more like a brother.  We shared laughter and tears.  He was always my sounding board and a shoulder to lean on.  Except when the critters got in the building, then he told me I was on my own!  Lol. I can hear his voice of encouragement and still have a note in my desk he wrote probably 20 years ago. I drag it out and read it ever so often, and I remember….the special times, the laughter, the memories.  Fly high Michael J. You will be missed!

Mike was one of a kind. He took me under his wing when I first got out of college and started in accounting. I will forever be thankful for his wisdom but most of all his friendship. We went on many golf trips, fishing trips or just hanging out. He and Jon used to come over and watch football etc at my house and we would laugh the night away.  I will truly miss him and my heartfelt condolences are with Kim and his entire family. Love from Texas, Robert. 

I am so heartbroken to hear about Mike. I had the pleasure to meet Mike a decade or so ago at our Rotary Club. He was always so nice and friendly and helpful to me as a new member. He was always smiling and just made me feel happy being around him. He was willing to go to lunch with me to help me out in my business and to just to get to know each other better. I will miss him.

Rebeeca & I are very sad and will miss Mike greatly.
It was always a pleasure to meet with Mike when going over yearly tax filings, etc.  He was very good at his trade .   He had an upbeat attitude was extremely trust worthy.  Our condolences to his Wife (Kim) and Family including the HBL Family.

This beautiful young man always treated me as royalty. He called me Aunt Sharon and when he said it, it showed nothing but the love he had for me. I planned a trip to come and see them and I couldn’t have messed it up anymore than I did. I wanted it to be a surprise to his wife, Kim, so I had to call Mike and explain to him the mess I had made of my trip, he assured me that he would fix it pick me up do whatever he needed to do to help me with my surprise. I’ve loved Mike for a very long time and was so thrilled when he and Kim tied the knot. I know there’s a bowling league in heaven and Mike is right there  hitting those strikes .

Mike was a consistent source  of help to my husband and I. We trusted him. He continued to be that for me after my husband died.
His pleasant, sometimes humorous, demeanor  and compassionate understanding  will be missed. I am blessed to have known him.

I only had the honor of knowing Mike professionally and yet, that alone was enough to consider a friend, a man of integrity, and a person that I considered a privilege to associate with.   I am heartbroken by his passing and simply cannot imagine the sorrow and loss felt by his beloved family, friends and co-workers.  Mike will always hold a special place in my heart. 

Mike and I crossed paths 15 years ago  after joining fantasy football, Mike was always the eternal JETS fan. Meeting at Jackie Moore’s for the draft was a weekend of good clean fun, got to know Mike as pleasant, soft spoken, fun to be with guy. Moreover come to see Mike was so well respected and admired by so many. We’ve lost a good man. May God bless Mike’s family
