Linda Gonzales Alvarez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Gonzales Alvarez on August 2, 2024. Linda was born on February 3, 1953, in Tucson, Arizona, where she graduated from Pueblo High School. She went on to build lasting relationships within the Tucson community throughout her professional career, beginning with Superior Steel and then retiring from TA Caid Industries. Preceded in death by her parents Monico and Amalia Gonzales and her brother’s Monte Gonzales, James Martinez and sister's Olga Angulo and Virginia Martinez. Linda is survived by her daughter, Nina-Marie Salvemini (Tony) and her three grandchildren Alyssa Renee Hileman (Cody), Gabriel Manuel Rodriguez (Alicia Villanueva), Lauren Alicia Salvemini, Great Grandchildren, Preston Michael Hileman, Rylee Marie Hileman, and her brothers, George and Jerry Gonzales. Linda was affectionately known as “Tia Ani”, by all of her nieces and nephews, who loved her very much. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren and gathering with friends. Linda also loved tending to her garden, with her dog Sookie, by her side. She was a woman of faith who believed in the power of prayer and found peace and fellowship within her parish, Corpus Christi Catholic community. Linda’s great sense of humor, unforgettable laughter, and charismatic personality will be missed by all of those privileged enough to have known and loved her.

Services to be held on Friday, August 16th at 10am, Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
