Leslie C Megaw

Leslie Coulter Megaw age 76, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 24, 2012 in Tucson, AZ. He was born August 31, 1935 in Homer, Ohio and was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Charles Megaw. He is survived by his wife, sister, brother, six children and thirteen grandchildren.

Leslie moved from Ohio to Tucson in 1946, where he worked at the Ghost Ranch Lodge before attending the University of Arizona where he was an honor student and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He worked as a CPA for the City of Tucson for over 30 years and retired in 2008 as the city’s Principal Account Auditor. It was in Tucson that he met his wife of over thirty eight years and together they raised a family of six children.

He was a wonderful father and husband and will always be in our hearts. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where he and his wife were parishioners (5150 North Valley View Road). In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
