Kim Marie Colombo

Kim Marie Colombo was born July 13th, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York, to Lucille Garafallo and Luis Sotomayor. Kim peacefully passed away in her sleep on December 17, 2016, at age 56. She is survived by her 2 children, Dominique and Damien Colombo, and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. Awaiting her in Heaven are both parents, her husband, Francesco Colombo, and her 2 sisters, Catherine and Victoria Sotomayor. She was not alone on Earth and she will not be alone in Heaven.

Kim loved her career as a Registered Nurse. She was always at her best, when she was doing what she loved best, and that was nursing and taking care of others. Many people she left behind, can say they truly thought of her as a second mother. She was like a Super Hero, always striving at her job, baking cakes in the kitchen and being an amazing mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Kim’s passing is a true loss to those of us she has left behind, but Heaven has gained another Angel.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28 at 2:00 PM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary. A Reception will then follow at the residence.
