Born July 15, 1928 in Brockton, Massachusetts to Anthony and Helen Kassos. She was married to the love of her life, Manoli.
She lived in New York, Greece, Spain, and Arizona. She traveled all over the world and visited 6 of the 7 continents.
Katy loved God and was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. She impacted many lives and was insightful and wise.
Besides being a very successful business woman in Greece and Spain, she will be especially remembered for having a zest for life, enjoying time with friends, her love for cooking, traveling, impeccably decorating her homes in White Plains, Scarsdale, Cape Cod, Hampton Bays, Filothei, Psychico, Athens, Paleo Faleron, Marbella, Puerto Penasco and Tucson and of course raising her ever-so-precious three children.
She is survived by her husband Emmanuel, daughters Elaine and Anna, her son Alex, her grandchildren Panos and Katerina, and great grandchildren Lina, Sebastian, Dylan, Shyann, and Brayden. Katy was preceded in death by her brother James and parents Anthony and Helen.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, 6/18/2014 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Funeral Services will be held at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 1145 E. Fort Lowell Rd. on Thursday, 6/19/2014 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
