John Edward Tarran

John is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Tarran, to whom he was married for an extraordinary 62 years. Their love story began in Tucson, Arizona, where they married after John's discharge from the NAVY, having served bravely during the Korean War.

John's professional life was marked by his exceptional skills and dedication. As a talented mechanic, he rose to become the Rocket Engine Assembly Supervisor at North American Aviation Company, contributing to the Apollo program. He later transitioned to a career as a Tool and Die Maker, working for M&P Bearing in California, and then for GE and IBM in Tucson, before retiring at the age of 60.

In retirement, John found joy in a myriad of hobbies and pursuits. He was deeply involved in Tucson Senior Net as a program developer and instructor, sharing his knowledge and passion for technology. His craftsmanship was also evident in his custom carpentry projects. Among his favorite pastimes was spending cherished moments with friends and family at the Gazebo in Greer, AZ.

John is survived by his children Lori (Marvin) Lahmann and Scott (Sherri) Tarran; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and an unyielding spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He will be remembered as a dedicated family man, a respected professional, and a dear friend to many. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him
