Jean Arlove Martin

Jean Arlove Martin passed away August 3, 2022, at the age of 82. She was born April 1, 1940, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jean graduated from Catalina High School in 1958. She attended the University of Arizona, earned her BSN from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her MSN from Northwestern State University. Jean retired in 2008 from the University of Arizona Medical Center where she was the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Department of Neurology.

Jean was a loving, caring, and devoted mother and caregiver to her patients alike. Jean was a member of Job’s Daughters and was the honored Queen of Bethel no.2, in November 1958. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents Allen S. Chambers, Paul & Riginette Enz; brother David Enz; and sons John C. Martin and Jeffrey A. Martin. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. Galligan (Chuck); her son Justin E. Martin (Lois); and four grandchildren, Brandon Martin, Katelynne Martin, John Martin and Lauren Galligan.

Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 S. Park Avenue, Tucson, AZ on Saturday, August 13, 2022, Visitation 10-11 a.m., Funeral Service 11 a.m. Graveside service immediately following at South Lawn Cemetery.

A visitation for Jean will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
