Edith found the greatest joy in life's simple pleasures: listening to a weekly radio show of her favorite Hawaiian music with her beloved cat, Satin; a sunny morning in her backyard garden; an evening dinner with her boyfriend, Bill. A voracious reader, she was a scholar of classic literature, science fiction, and romance novels.
Edith is survived by her sister, Alice (Mosbacher) Goodwin and husband Bruce, nephew Evan Newell and wife Krista, and by countless other family and friends, including the Temple Beth Shalom community, who brought her joy throughout her life.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 25 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary at 9:30 AM with Committal to follow, at graveside; beginning at 10:30.
