Debbie Ann Wetzel

FEBRUARY 12, 1961-JUNE 25, 2015

Our good friend Debbie was called home on June 25, 2015 after a battle with cancer. She fought a long hard battle and we are very proud of her even though she knew that it was a losing battle-she fought hard.

Debbie was born and raised in Jackson, Michigan. She let everyone know that her team was Michigan Wolverines. Don't mess with her "boys" as she would say "GO BLUE". Her friends Connie and Marilyn were with her when she was called home. Thank you Laura, Connie, and Marilyn for an amazing job fulfilling her last wishes and being with her through out her last journey of life. Debbie was employed by World Dining until October, 2014 when she was diagnosed with cancer. Many of her customers became her friends whom visited her and helped her during her illness, especially her dear friend Brandon. Thank you Brandon for taking the time to go be with her. Previously she had been employed at Furr's for 28 years and many of her friends from there visited her and helped her through her time of need. Thank you all for being there for her. A special thanks to Hospice for their wonderful care who went way beyond their call of duty to make her life comfortable and helped her to remain in her home where she wanted to be. She is survived by her puppy Doxi which she loved very much and many friends that loved HER very much. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Alvin and Evelyn Wetzel and

her brother Ron Wetzel. Memorial service will be held July 11, 2015 at 10AM at the New Life Community Church, 3367 N Geronimo Ave, Tucson, AZ. We are asking for covered dishes so we can have lunch after the service. In lieu of flowers there will be donation envelopes at the service to donate so that Debbie can be buried with her parents.
