Betty moved to Tucson Arizona in 1966 with her husband Benny Anderson at the age of 26, together they raised three children. Betty worked for the City of Tucson, St. Mary’s Hospital and as a school nurse throughout her career in the Health Profession. Later Betty married her late Husband Major Gordon.
Mama, Betty Lou, Aunt Behlou, Grandma, Ms. Betty; These were some of the endearing names given to Betty by her loved ones and friends.
After a long illness, Betty departed this life on November 6, 2023.
Her memory will always be in our hearts and cherished by her family; Daughters and Son, Patrice, Tracy and Kevin. Her 5 grandchildren and great grandchild; Brittany, Sydney, Sarah, Miles, Kazrek and Jayden. Her Sisters and Brothers; Carol, Louis Ann, Eddie, Archie Lee and Larry Darnell.
She is also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and countless other family members and friends.
