Alice G Callahan, age 99 passed away on Sunday May 27, 2018. Alice Gene was born September 20, 1918 in Alva Oklahoma to Horace David "Hall" Smith and Mable Kephart Smith. Alice attended Oklahoma State University where she earned her Bachelor degree in Business Administration. She worked as a secretary for the Navy and other companies. She was a Real Estate Agent in Tucson until her retirement, she was a recipient of several achievements awards during her working career. Alice was active in many organizations during her life, Daughters of the Nile, serving as Queen, Red Hatters, Desert Darlings, and a Silly Sock Club to name a few. She loved to party and enjoyed chocolate bloody Mary's, Margaritas and strawberry shakes. Alice loved to travel, play golf, dance and play cards with friends. She lived in several places including Okinawa, San Diego (one of her favorites) Bisbee, Sierra Vista and Tucson AZ. Alice was preceded in death by her husband Holly W Callahan. She is survived by Don and Dianne Robertson ( Step-Daughter) Sierra Vista AZ, Edwin and Linda Hoffman ( Step-Daughter) Salinas KS. Step-Grandsons, Raul Hoffman, Overland Parks KS. Tony ( Elizabeth) Hoffman Basehor KS. Jeff Robertson Tucson Az. and Great Grand-Daughters Abigale Hoffman and Kennedy Grace Robertson. Alice (Gene) will be missed by family and friends and they will carry fond memories of her in their hearts.
A celebration of life will take place in the reception hall at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E Grand Road on Friday June 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
