Mr. Van Eugene Epps

He is survived by his son, Christopher Epps and his daughter in law, Kimberly Epps, along with his grandchildren Johnny Epps and Emma Epps.

Van Epps was born on August 15, 1947 in Porterdale, Ga to parents Hulon G Epps and Ina W Epps. His childhood was spent in Atlanta Ga. He lived in and around Atlanta his entire lifetime. He graduated with honors from Georgia Tech with an Engineering degree in Architecture. He served in the National Guard before beginning his career in Architecture. He worked for several private architectural firms before finishing his career with MARTA.

He loved his family and he loved the outdoors. He kept vegetable gardens and landscaped his property beautifully. He was an avid traveler that loved to hike, camp and fish.

His family and friends will always remember him as a kind and loving man.

The family welcomes all interested parties to attend a reception honoring Van. The visitation will be held from 1 to 3pm on Friday, November 10th at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker, Ga on Lawrenceville Hwy.

The reception/visitation will be followed by a graveside service at the adjacent Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

A visitation for Van will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cremation, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:30 PM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084.
