Paul Edward Allen, 67 of Tucker, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born in Live Oak, Florida the son of the late Joe Allen and Barbara Hansard Allen. Paul was a teacher for the DeKalb County Schools System. He loved traveling, playing Texas-Hold-Em poker and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a big family man and especially loved holidays because he was going to be with family.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Allen of Tucker; his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and James Stewart of Atlanta; his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Lindsay Allen of Tucker; his mother, Barbara Allen of Molina, GA; his sisters, Linda Reese of Molina, GA and Pam Taylor of Fayetteville, GA; his grandchildren, Jayden and Kalynn Stewart.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Higgins officiating. Inurnment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10-11 am.
