Christine Ann Smith (nee: Basch), age 77 of Buckley, passed away on July 8, 2015. Loving wife of 36 years to the late Albert “Martin”. Cherished mom of Peggy (Brent) Wagner, Sandra Schult, Beverly (James) Weber and Martin (Lisa). Dear grandma of Paul (Amanda) Wagner, Keri (Chris) Weber-Davies, Adam (Betsy) Wagner, Jenifer Schult, Corey (Tori) Weber, Martin “Jay” (Bethany) Schult and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of Betty Smith of Kingsley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Christine enjoyed hunting, cooking, playing cards and bingo, ceramics but most of all, spending time with her family. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015; 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Covell Funeral Home, Traverse City. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
