I should have told you one more time,
‘I love you oh so much.”
We should have taken one last walk
And looked at stars and such.
But now you’ve gone and left me.
My smiles have turned to tears.
But death can’t steal the things we’ve shared
Throughout these last few years.
We used to talk about little things.
Like how our days have been.
So now we’ll have to take good notes
‘Til together once again.
I’ll walk with you again some day.
Who knows when that may be?
I’ll watch the stars and see your love.
I know you wait for me.
