Rose Milic

It is with heavy hearts that the Milic family announces the passing of

Rose on December 6th, 2024, at the age of 67 in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.

Rose is survived by her Sister Anna Schilling (husband Bill Schilling), Sister-in-law Carole Milic (life partner John Corcoran), Sister-in-law Julie Milic, Nephew Reverend Aaron Milic (wife Marilyn Toomsalu), Nephew Hans Milic, Cousins Pero & Dana Stojanovic, their son Vaso and his wife Stephanie Stojanovic and their children Bianca and Luca.

Rose was preceded in her passing by her parents Nikola and Anka Milic and her brothers Rudy and Peter Milic and brother-in-law John Maclean.

Special thanks to the staff at Chester Village for their compassionate care of Rose over the last two years.

Rose loved her city of Toronto and had a long career at the Sheraton Hotel downtown. She was the life of the party and loved to dance. As a generous aunt, she loved taking Aaron and Vaso on many adventures to the circus, the movies, sporting events, Ice-capades, the Metro Zoo and their favourite of all, the CNE. As a loving sister, she loved to joke around with her brothers Peter and Rudy and playing tennis and soaking up the sun with her sister Anna in Hilton Head. But it was with her mother Anka that she shared the most adventures, traveling together, doing needlepoint together, eating and partying together with the rest of the Milic family. And then in her later years she got to spend time together with her new roommate, her nephew Hans, who she loved dearly.

The family have chosen to grieve privately at this time but well wishes are always welcome.
