My dearest niece.  When I first laid eyes on you standing up in your crib at your Nanny’s house,  I thought you were the cutest little baby girl I had ever seen.  Your mother and I were heading out for the night, and you were staying for a sleepover, but we weren’t going anywhere until we first watched you jump up and down in your crib without holding on to the bars!  You were so proud of yourself, and I saw the joy you brought your mother that day. Sadly, her joy cannot be felt today as you are off somewhere else now, and she is left behind.  Your father, your beloved family, and friends; all devastated.  Our hearts are so heavy it’s unimaginable. But I think you are surrounded with love right now; I feel you are warm and circled by ones we knew before.  We know it’s possible.  Maybe you now watch over ones left behind though it’s too cruel that you were taken so early. Perhaps you could show us one day; let us feel you are still here with us. Send us a warm breeze when we are shivering with grief. Let us hear music from out of nowhere that lets us move how you once moved. Bring us a memory to make us smile on the outside when we are still hurting so deeply inside. Light the night up with stars so we find our way out of darkness during our loneliest nights. Will you let us help finish your plan here on earth for you, so that you are free to start your new one? I force myself to be happy for you, like 2nd place feels for the winner.  You aren’t really, but you know somebody must lose.  Do you know something we don’t now?  Will you share that prize of knowledge with us; encouraging us to keep trying to do and be our best? But whatever you do Ranae, please don’t ever leave us again, for we just couldn’t bear it, but instead, will u walk with us? Help us brace ourselves when we are about to fall?  Push us higher when we are being pulled down?  I think you will every moment you can. Although my heart aches, I know yours does no more.  I love you Ranae, now & forever xo

My sincerest condolences to Ranae's parents, family and friends.  I only met Ranae a handful of times while visiting her bother Eddie but I see here on her page just how much she was and continues to be loved.  Rest in Peace, Ranae.

Ranae's mother sent me this pic last year. She always had wise eyes, you could never trick her no matter what...she always had something to say. 
Wise beyond her years...Its been an unimaginable month for the family, as we all know. I remember you and Gianpaul with love & fondness, and someday, I will be able to laugh at how bold, caring, and loving, you were.
I will remain steadfast with your mom, aunt Paullette, your  dad, and other family members. 
I can't find enough words, to express all of this. I hope that you are at peace Ranae, and now that you're with Gianpaul, both of you will be the Angels for your family.

I love forever Rae Rae.  Whenever I called you for advice or an ear to vent you were soooooo supportive you would give your all and say whatever it took to make me feel better.   You really cared and gave such good advice , especially the last time,you made me feel so good after our telephone conversation this winter...so good. Thank you for that Ranae.  When we attended Rebecca's shower this February omg I was crying of laughter literally I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard from the outrageous things you were saying, and I thank you for that as well my baby.  Noemi goes to Gianpauls daycare, she has the same teachers Gianpaul had (they remember Gianni) I never got a chance to tell you that, and I hope you are both watching Noemi play at the daycare. Coming down every summer to Toronto was always the greatest gift for me, seeing friends and family that I havent seen in a year made me soo happy.  If my best friend Zewdu wasnt home for me to play video games with, Id always would try to call Ranae and meet up with her because she would always answer my calls and tell me to meet her to hangout and have some laughs and food. She always took care of me when I was with her. She always told me how much she loved me and that we are the last of the Adie's.  If its Gods will for me to have a child and its girl, I will name her Ranae. Your memory will be with me until the end of time. I love you so much, see you again soon!
