Born on February 14, 1957, to the late Annunziato and late Annunziata Rao. Beloved granddaughter of Pasqualina Mammoliti Primavera. She was part of a large, loving family with ten siblings: Stella Lupiani, Domenic Rao, Salvatore Rao, Marisa Silvaggio, and Anita Bertolo. She has been reunited with her siblings: Teresa Pepe, Pasqualina Consiglio, Laura Sorbara, and Angelina Rao Longo.
She will be forever loved and missed by her many nieces and nephews, who were her world.
Her days were filled with love and laughter. Cooking for her family or caring for her nieces and nephews brought her immense joy but Nancy's influence extended beyond her family and friends to the international students she welcomed into her home. Her nurturing and caring nature made her a second mother to many. She not only provided them with support but also guided them to adapt to the Canadian way of life. Her impact on these students was significant, and she formed lasting friendships with many of them. She will always be remembered as a shining example of love, kindness, and generosity.
