It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved Mary on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Predeceased by her parents Alice and McLaren Miller. Loving wife of the late William Donald. Devoted mother of Ann (Roy) and Wendy. Cherished grandmother of Tabitha (Jason). Mary's passion and talent for piano as a child led her to Western University's music program where she crossed paths with her beloved Bill at a campus art gallery. She spent her life teaching piano to children including two generations of her own family and was proud of her accomplishments as a "domestic engineer". Mary was the silent partner behind Bill's creative energies. She spent her last years happily surrounded by friends and staff at New Horizons Tower where dedicated fans enjoyed her piano concerts and sing-alongs. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 1-3 p.m., visitation 12 noon, at the GIFFEN-MACK 'DANFORTH' FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main St. subway), 416-698-3121. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke.
