Mark Allan Young

Born April 4, 1965 in Toronto, Ontario. Died tragically December 16, 2017 in Toronto, Ontario. Mark was spouse to the late Michelle Hopkins (2001). Father (Old Man) of Vaughn and Jake. Son of Winston Young (Poppy) and the late Carol Lambert (Pat). Brother to Wade (Sheila), Kathryn (Mark) and Debra (Paul). Uncle and great uncle to 11. Grandson of the Late Kay Young, Washington Young and Del and Audrey Lambert. Remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins but especially Denise, Michelle, Tara and Rob. Dear friend of Marjorie Sherman.

We would like to thank the Toronto Police Services Homicide Division (Detectives Carbone, Matthews and Hung), Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (Liz), Victim Crisis Response Program (Stacey and her team that came out to meet us Angela and Shelayne). Mark had his struggles in life and we wish to thank the many agencies that have supported Mark throughout the years and reached out to our family, your kind words were greatly appreciated and won't be forgotten.

Celebration Of Life to take place at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Avenue West on Saturday January 20, 2018 from 1-4 pm. Interment will be held in the spring at St. John's Dixie Cemetery.

Memorial donations would be very much appreciated by the family, and may be made to St. Stephen's Community House or a charity of choice.

God grant me the serenity
