John, i always came to pick you up Every Sunday to drive you to church, so we can BOTH go do our duties, to serve the church, to usher......You, Nick and myself were called The Rat Pack at St. Jane Frances church, now you are gone, You will be missed, You will forever be in our hearts, RIP John. I was very saddened to read of John's passing. I remember John as a very good student at York Humber High School back in 1968! John played defence on the school soccer team back then and as his coach I could always depend on him. Very few forwards were able to get past him and shoot at our net. Our team,York Humber Blues , won the MTDVSAA championship that year and John was very instrumental in our success. After all these years , I still have pictures of that socer team and John looking a very young defenceman at the time. As John's teacher and coach I will always remember those great days and the good things and great memories those kids left with me. It was an pleasure teaching kids like John and I was fortunate to have had quite a number like John pass my way. Thanks for the memories,John. My condolences to your family and may you rest in peace and join members of your family that have passed on in God's Heavenly Home.
