Sincere Condolences to all those children who connected to Mrs. BROWN, She was the light of any gathering with her jovial self, God continue to strengthen her children- family & friends connected to her. She will be missed... 🙏🌹It's never easy to step forward without the one you love and hold dear, especially a Mother..... 🙏💯❤️I can say that Mrs Brown actually loves to knit🌸☺️👌 and from I gathered it was therapeutic hobbie of hers. Mrs Brown made a special blanket for my son's christening when he was 3months old🤗💖💫, we as a family appreciated the kind gesture from her, as she took the time out on her own to provide it. She also went up and above to make little booties and it was all such an awesome gift☺️🎁from her not again . We will always remember her  kindness and how thoughtful she was. My husband and I remember Heather, when we used to go down to our friend Imelda Huitema’s place. I remember how cheerful she was. Please know that, you’re all in our thoughts and prayers, as you continue on this difficult journey.

Heather, we will truly miss you as our neighbour and dear friend. From the very beginning, when we were still new here and feeling a bit shy, you were always the one to greet us, check in, and make us feel welcome. We saw each other every day when picking up the kid from school, and you helped us in so many ways. Most of all, you taught us the courage to speak up, even in the smallest moments. There’s a saying in Cantonese, "遠親不如近鄰"—distant relatives aren’t as good as close neighbours—and I always felt safe living next to you and your family.

Your kindness was everywhere—in the little gifts you sent to the kids’ classes, the beautiful handcrafted things you made, and  and just the way you cared for the people around you. We’ll always remember that. Thank you for everything, Grandma, we will miss you.

Bennie and I loved Heather.  She started as Bennie’s school nurse, then home nurse..then, a dear friend. She was part of our family.  Heather saw us through many years of challenges and joys. We grew closer over the many years. She was a caring, compassionate and skillful nurse and a beautiful person.I will miss her deeply.

I will miss my conversations with Heather. I will miss her "Hey girl". No matter how my day was going, if I spoke with Heather, it was a good day.

Heather has been a driving force in our CT6 Desk by her ability to teach and encourage our nurses to take on school kids. Most of our nurses were hesitant and scared to see school kids as they didn't think they were capable of seeing them. Heather took them by the hand and gave them the confidence they needed to see these very special children.

Heather's reassurance and guidance allowed our desk to accept every single new school kid this year, allowing all of these children to be able to attend school which is a huge accomplishment.

Without Heather, this would not have been possible and many children would be stuck at home, not getting a proper education and missing out on social interactions with peers.

We will continue to keep Heather's Legacy going within our company and take on as many school kids as possible.

My aunt Heather was never afraid to speak her mind, run a joke, cook some food, I loved her.  You'd think she was born and raised in Jamaica. She was always at my grand aunt house, always around her mother in law, she loved her family. I can't believe my strong, funny, outspoken aunt is gone! It's such a shock. Love you aunty.

Heather was one of the first people we met when we came to Canada. My mom met Heather when she started high school at central tech. I heard so many stories of their time there and I followed in their foot steps and also went there. Heather was family and always treated us as such. Her compassion and understanding got me through my teen years. She would let me just chill in her basement and watch much music. She seemed to know what I needed. I’m grateful I met a soul like her! From the Williams family, we will always love you!

Heartbroken by the loss of Mother Brown, a truly remarkable woman whose kindness, warmth, and unwavering strength touched so many lives. She was a mother in every sense of the word—deeply caring, always present, and a pillar of strength no matter what life threw her way.

To know Melissa, Kayla, and Winston was to know her, and that is such a beautiful legacy. Her love, wisdom, and spirit will continue to live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

She was an amazing soul, I was friends with her lovely daughter Melisa and I remember playing hide and go seek in the basement in middle school and receiving nothing but love from Heather Brown.  And omg, I remember how good that home smelt of delicious food.  Just an all around amazing person. She makes it so easy to put a smile on your face. God rest your soul. One love.
