I knew Frank for about 20 years. He was  a lovely, considerate, fun and funny, intelligent and very talented true gentleman. He made the best chicken soup from scratch and he could play the bass guitar with passion and talent. We would have conversations where time meant nothing and his depth and breadth of knowledge raised my respect for him and expanded my own experience. I didn't even know he was gone. I wish someone  told me. I will miss his friendship and I feel the loss so deeply my breath catches with pain. Those who didn't recognize the Frank I was friends with have been  shortchanged precious and irreplaceable moments, ones that make the drudgeries fade to grey. Love, your friend Roma
