Fiorella passed peacefully with family by her side, after a long battle with Alzheimer's on November 17 at Humber River Hospital. She is survived by her spouse Massimo of 54 years, her children Francesca (Erik) and Martina (Jeremy), by her grandchildren Sienna, Andrew and Jack.
Fiorella is predeceased by her parents Luigi and Mercedes Loreti, and her sisters Angela (Nicola) and Piera (Giuseppe). Fiorella will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to family and loved every moment she spent with them. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her outgoing and welcoming personality. She will be remembered for her love of music, reading, entertaining, travelling, and for her love of gardening and ability to make delicious meals. The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Humber Meadows Long Term Care and Humber River Hospital for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st from 2-3pm.
Funeral services will take place right after.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society in Fiorella’s memory.
