Born in Guyana on October 22, 1929.
A loving sister, auntie and friend to many has passed away peacefully on Saturday September 2, 2023 at the age of 93.
Known as Dorothy or Auntie Evelyn to loving friends and family.
Evelyn will be fondly remembered for her love, kindness, infectious smile and generous spirit.
Evelyn loved to travel and was able to share special memories with all who knew her.
Evelyn retired after working for more than 30 years as a nurse at the Toronto Western Hospital.
She was also known for her dedication to her church family at the Church of the Nazarene and will be dearly missed by all.
Evelyn is survived by her sisters Claudette, Doreen, and Lynette.
A private ceremony will be held at Jerrett funeral home Friday, September 15, 2023.
Evelyn lived with breast cancer and despite this she persevered and lived her life her way.
