He was a loving and devoted husband to Giuseppina for 62 years. Cherished by his dear children Gabriele (Tamara), Franca (Joe) and Susie (Soccorso). Adoring Nonno to Nicholas, Steven (Stephanie), Alessia, David, Michael and Alexander.
He will be remembered by his surviving siblings Attilio (Irma), Evelina (Loreto), sister-in-law Loreta and brother-in-law Tonino (Maria), as well as extended family and dear friends.
Carlo lived every day to the fullest. His ultimate goal in life was to ensure the health and happiness of his beloved family. His best times were spent telling a good long story, enjoying the best of food, caring for his garden, and travelling. He cherished the company of family and friends and had a passion for sharing advice with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Drive, Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Church, 2100 Jane St., Toronto, Ontario on Thursday January 12, 2023 at 10 a.m.
Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7300 Highway #27, Woodbridge, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Carlo may be made to the Odette Cancer Centre or Humber River Hospital Foundation.
