Angela Christina Noonan

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Angela Christina Noonan on Sunday May 11, 2014. Angela was married to John McCarthy and was the loving mother of Shannon (Tom) and grandmother of Ashley and Stephen. Angela is survived by her siblings Elizabeth (Pascal) Brogan, Marie (Ron) Cosway, John (Stephanie) Noonan, Christopher (Joan) Noonan and Gerrard (Casey ) Noonan. Angela is predeceased by her parents Josephine (nee` Ryan) and Jack Noonan and John's wife Stephanie. She will be missed by her many Nephews and Nieces.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland the Noonan family immigrated to Canada in The 1950's . Angela came over in her early twenties , married and made Canada her home.

Angela embarked in the career of her choice in the decorating industry starting her employ with Crown Wallpaper Corp. Moving from there to Color Your World paint and wallpaper stores. Angela quickly worked her way into management and further to district manager . Upon downsizing of the company Angela started working with Metro foods where she enjoyed her customers and her co-workers.

Angela gave back to the community by volunteering at the Humber River Hospital. She loved to travel and vacationed abroad with family and friends; her favourite destination being Acapulco, Mexico. Many friends and memories shared in her favourite place in the sun. Angela had a great passion and love for her beloved dogs over the years and will be missed by Erin who has the same enthusiasm and vibrant spirit that Angela shared with those who knew her.

Angela inspired many with her strength , attitude and determination for healing after sustaining injuries due to an accident in May of 2013. She maintained an unbelievably positive outlook and showed patience and perseverance through her difficult year.

Angela's spirit will be remembered by family members, friends and co-workers.

The family will receive friends and relatives at a memorial and reception at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Drive, Toronto on Saturday May 24, 2014 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM to pay tribute to a strong, loved woman who will be remembered for her vivacious fun-loving character.
