Rosemary Bahooshian, age 86, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Toms River, NJ. She was born on November 13, 1937 in Westfield NJ to the late Anthony & Rose Vastano. Rosemary attended McKinley Elementary School and graduated from Westfield High School. She moved to Bayville NJ in 1980 with her family. Where she made many friends and then retired in Toms River NJ.
Rosemary was a beloved member of the Village Lutheran Church in Lacey Township, NJ, where she was actively involved in the choir. Her love for singing was matched only by her affection for animals, especially her dogs, and her enjoyment of going to the beach.
She leaves behind a loving family, a brother John Vastano, sons Jack Bahooshian, Adam Bahooshian, married to Deirdre, and a daughter, Lesley Reid, married to David. Her cherished grandchildren include Adam Jr., Jacob, Emily, and Julia. Rosemary was preceded in death by her brother Anthony Vastano, and sister Diane Harrison.
A celebration of life for Rosemary will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Village Lutheran Church, 701 Western Blvd, Lacey Township, NJ 08734.
