Rita M. Laycock, 84, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on June 25, 2012, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. She was born in Newark and lived in Beachwood before moving to Whiting ten years ago. Rita lived for her family and being with them was her greatest joy.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Richard M. Laycock Sr. in 1991, her son Bobby in 1977, her two brothers: Frank and Anthony Testa, and her sister Catherine Anderson. She is survived by her four children: Margaret Maness, Richard M. Laycock Jr. and his wife Catherine, Carolyn Coyle and her husband Scott and Ron Laycock and his wife d’Arcy; brother Frank Testa; sister Caroline Venosa; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Friday, June 29th, from 4-7 PM , with a prayer service at 6:30 PM at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River.
