Nicholas James Sanfilippo (Nick), 76, of Toms River, NJ and West Palm Beach, FL died at Gerstenberg Care Center in West Palm Beach, FL on January 28, 2016. Born in Jersaey City, NJ Nick’s family moved to Belmar in 1950. He was employed by Central Uniform Services and Gateway Toyota of Toms River until owning Cal-San Auto Sales in Asbury Park. Nick also served in the Naval Air Reserve.
He was predeceased by his wife, Adelaide Callanan and his parents, Nicholas and Anna Sanfilippo. He is survived by his sister, Ann Julian of Brick, NJ, Nancy Sakalosky of Wyckoff NJ, and Barbara Preston of Sherrills Ford, NC. Suzanna Callanan of Toms River, his longtime companion, as well as his many nieces and nephews will miss Uncle Nicky.
There will be a memorial gathering and Celebration of Nicks life held from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday April 16, 2016 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755.
