Mitchell Gordon Search

Mitchell G. Search of Millburn, passed away on Monday, November 6,, 2017 at the home of his mother. Mitchell lost his long battle with cancer at the age of 59. He was born in Irvington and raised in Brielle. He graduated Red Bank Catholic and went on to graduate “Cum Laude” from Boston College. He worked in management for Verizon in Freehold and Basking Ridge for many years. Mitchell’s greatest joy was spending time with his two children. He enjoyed watching the Giants games with his son Andrew. Mitchell was a dedicated Rolling Stones fan having attended over 90 shows in his lifetime. After all, it’s only Rock and Roll. Mitchell is survived by his two children, Emma and Andrew, his mother Marion Search and late father Gordon, his sister Dana (Rich) Freeman and Susanne (Brett) Perkins, his nieces and nephews Matthew, Rachel (Erik) Grimes, and Christopher Freeman, Madelynn and Courtney Perkins. We love you and miss your smile, red hair and sense of humor. Rest in peace without pain.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Pt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 701 Forman Ave., Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution in his memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
