Marilyn Martucci

Marilyn Martucci, 81, of the Matawan section of Old Bridge Twp, died Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL. Born in Manhattan, NY, she lived in Matawan, before moving to Boynton Beach 5 months ago.

Born Tuesday, March 26, 1940 in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Ruzzi. Marilyn was a registered nurse for many years with her specialty being Geriatrics.

Marilyn was married to her beloved Michael Martucci who passed in 2016 and together they had 3 children. They raised those children while living in the Lakeridge Community where the family resided for 54 years. She was the loving mother of Karen Bergson, Debra Wellmann and husband Kevyn, and her son, Michael Martucci, Jr. and his wife Linda. Marilyn was the cherished grandmother to Stephen Blish, Mitchell Martucci, Drew Martucci, Tyler Wellmann, Dylan Wellmann, and the late DJ Blish. She is also survived by her sister, Carole Marchese. Marilyn was a caring aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Most Holy Redeemer Church located at 133 Amboy Road, Matawan, NJ 07747. Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to Saint Anthony of Padua Society or Most Holy Redeemer, 133 Amboy Rd, Matawan, NJ 07747.
