Karen Marie Lange, 74 of Toms River, NJ passed away on August 4, 2016 after a long illness surrounded by family. She was born in Newark, NJ, the daughter of Vera and John Bannon. She moved to Toms River in 1972 with her husband Richard to raise their family. Karen will always be remembered as a tall, blonde, quick witted beauty. She also had a very quiet side, yet a compassionate nature and was always quick to tell a joke. She showed a great deal of strength and courage throughout her life especially in her long fight with her illness. She loved her family and her beloved German Shepard, Greta, and let’s not forget her coffee! She worked at Community Medical Center for over 25 years.
Karen is predeceased by her husband Richard E. Lange and her two sisters, Beverly Binder and Barbara Prevost. She is survived by her three children; Richard Lange, Stacey Lange and Pamela Lange; her grandchildren, Rocco and Nico Mastropasqua, Gianna Pellegrino and Ava Fernandez.
She also leaves behind her brother John Bannon and his wife Mary Carole, her sister Lynne Bannon, her brother Kevin Bannon and many nieces and nephews.
Karen will truly be missed, R.I. P. our beautiful angel.
