Joseph Mandrowitz, age 93, of Toms River, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Born in Poland, Joseph immigrated to the United States after being liberated as a Holocaust Survivor on May 9, 1945. He had owned & operated his own clothing manufacturing company in College Point, Queens, NY. Joseph is predeceased by his wife Dorothy Mandrowitz, his son Howard and his only surviving cousin Pesa Rivkabiderman. He is survived by his wife Maria H. Mandrowitz; his daughter Zena Mandrowitz; his loving step children and their families and Pesa’s loving children and families. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at B’nai Israel Memorial Park, Whitty Rd. Toms River.
