Chris and Family my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I'm sorry for your loss.

We are truly sorry for the loss of James Scott, Chris and family our hearts and thoughts are with you always, he knew he was loved and hes in a better place!

The lord has decided to call you home to rest from your labors. This is going to be a tough time for your family as you have left a mark on us that can never be forgotten. The love that you gave all of us can never be forgotten..You gave us a home and gave us love that can never be matched by anything or anyone. My mother was truely blessed with a perfect gentleman when she married you. Your grandchildren will never forget all the wonderful things you have done for them as well. When the lord called you home we knew that you would be in great care and that you will forever be watching over us....I am just glad that you got to see Brittany and Chris get married and got to meet Nicholas. We are sad that you left us so soon but we know that you would want us to go on as a family and be strong for mom and for each other. As I type this and I wipe the tears away I know that your in a better place as I said and we dont have to worry anymore.......I know how proud you were of me when I made it to President of the Fire Company and how much that uniform ment to you each time I put it on...So on Wednesday I will be wearing it to honor you and to honor your memory. We are all sadden by the loss but we are working each day as a family to go forward. The holidays will not be the same without you this year but we know in our hearts that you will be there to celebrate with us in spirit.........As I write this and wipe tears from my eyes I say with great gratitude thank you " BIG DADDY " for all the amazing and wonderful things that you have done for your family and we will cherrish the great memories and the love that we all gained from you.

Take comfort in knowing that now we have a special guardian angel to watch over us.

The time has come that god has seen fit to call you home to rest from your labors. The hole that you left in your family can not even begin to be explained. As much as we busted on you and gave you grief about your smoking and your coffee it was you and we did it because we loved you. The thing that gives me peace is god waited to take you from us till after you got to see Brittany and Chris get married and to see Nicholas be born into the family. The love that you gave your family can never be matched by anyone and most of all since I was the youngest you gave me something I never had which was a home. I always had a house but when mom married you you gave me a home.  We all will go on and be stronger in the end because of this because we know that would be what you would want us to do.  Take comfort in knowing that everyday when I wake up I will be thankful for the things you did for us and every night when I lay my head down to sleep I will know you are watching over us and protecting us frorm harm and that your love still surrounds your family.  We all as a family will spend the Holidays  for years and years to come celebrating your love and your memory and I can promise you we will keep your love and your memory alive. As I sit here and wipe away the countless tears from my eyes I know that your staring down at me begging me to stop crying because I know you want us to celebrate and be happy we had you for the time we did.....I remember you telling me how happy you were when I stayed strong when my grandparents passed..........I remember that conversation and everytime I cry I know that you want me to be the strong one and I am fighting hard to do that..............In closing I love you Jimmy and will miss you everyday for the rest of my life but it will give me comfort to know how much you loved us and that your at peace.......One last thing. I will be putting that FIRE DEPARTMENT uniform on one more time for you to honor your memory because I remember how much it brought joy to you when I wore it and how proud you were when I became President this year of the fire company.............Rest in peace BIG DADDY WE  LOVE YOU
