Helen Sico

Helen Sico.. mom, grammy.. 94 years young .. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her girls. Born in Jersey City, her and her twin sister Marie were the youngest of 8 children; her other sister, Fannie lived around the corner from her and were very close, and five older brothers.

Raised in a big, close Italian family by her mom, Josephine and dad, Michaelangelo Marchitto.

Before she married she worked in Western Electric and then after raising her two daughters she went to work for Ellen Tracy Clothing as a Sales Lady, because of her love for beautiful clothes. But more then anything she was the best Mom! She loved making her macaroni and meatballs every Sunday! and Loved going to Bingo ! and listening to Music by Frank Sinatra and Engelbert Humperdinck. and Loved going to Atlantic City. And mostly, going out to NYC with dad having dinner and dancing at a favorite spot The Copa Cabanna.

Beloved wife of Jerry and loving, caring mother to Geraldine and Judie, and grandmother to Tiffany, her greatest joy who she adored! Loved by many nieces and nephews and her extended family and friends and wonderful neighbors. She will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Saturday August 3, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08757.
