Helen M. Mifflin

Helen M. Mifflin, 97, of Lafayette Hill, PA., formerly of Toms River, NJ, died Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Masonic Village in Lafayette Hill, PA. Born in Bloomfield, NJ, she lived in Philadelphia, PA. and Toms River, NJ., before moving to Lafayette Hill, PA 6 years ago.

Mrs. Mifflin was a Food Service Manager for the School District of Philadelphia for 20 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member for over 50 years and served as a PM of the Mount Olivet/Signet Chapter 129 Order of the Eastern Star. Helen was a member of the Toms River Garden Club, active in the Island Heights Methodist Church and a member of Naomi’s Circle.

Mrs. Mifflin was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years, William, in 2001 and is survived by her sons, William E. and his wife Rebecca H. of Florida and James W. of Florida, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren of Pennsylvania and June Bitting of California.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 12, 10:00-11:00 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
