Angelo was born on November 20th, 1947. He spent his years growing up in Stephen Crane Village where he made many memories that he carried with him throughout all of his years. He attended Barringer High School and later on worked as a truck driver. Angelo had a never fading love for music. He always followed his true passion as a vocalist. There was nothing he enjoyed more than performing with the many groups he was apart of.
With the welcoming arms of Pastor John Esposito who married Angelo and Roberta, he became an amazing stepfather to her four children and then God blessed them with two more children. He enjoyed surf fishing at the Jersey Shore, playing and watching sports, especially basketball and of course keeping an immaculate car. We all know how he loved to eat and make trips back north to bring home the best bread and wine! Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and making beautiful memories that we will carry with us forever.
Angelo is predeceased by his father Nicholas (Hank) Basilone, mother Mildred Basilone and brother Nicky Basilone. He is survived by his loving wife Roberta, his children Brenda and Dominick, step-children, Vanessa, Robert (Ashley), Natasha, Monica and ten grandchildren. Sister Doreen Thompson, brother John (Barbara) Basilone, and sister Domayne Basilone; along with his Aunt Emily and many cousins, nieces, nephews and an absolute incredible amount of friends.
