Phoenix, Arizona – Matt rode off into the sunset (well, technically, he passed away peacefully on February 29th, 2024, following a courageous battle) leaving behind his favorite girls - his cherished daughter, Ashlyn, and his beautiful granddaughters Audrey and Isabella.
Matt was a pillar of his family, known for his unwavering compassion and dedication to his loved ones. He took immense pride in his role as a father and grandfather, always prioritizing their well-being and happiness. He wasn’t just Dad/Grumpa, he was their personal life coach, teaching them everything from how to throw a perfect curveball to mastering the art of cooking the best steak and eggs. He never missed a chance to cheer them on, and his love for them was as endless as the miles he put on his Harley (you know he loved that Harley!).
Matt wasn't just about lessons though; he knew how to have a good time. His adventurous spirit was contagious and will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and living life to the fullest will ride on with us.
He was a man of unwavering reliability. He consistently provided unwavering support and guidance, creating a secure foundation for his loved ones. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and his love for the open road, particularly enjoyed on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Beyond his immediate and extended family, Matt will be missed by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances who cherished his honesty and knowledge.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Matt's remarkable journey, following the services. Join us to celebrate a life well-lived - to Matt, who left an indelible mark on our hearts.
A visitation for Matthew will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home, Tolleson, AZ, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
