Robert L. Dodd, Jr., 73, passed away on January 11, 2022 with his cherished longtime companion Margaret Ann Price by his side. Butch was awarded an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corp of which he was very proud. He was a kind, loyal and gentle man who loved his family and animals more than anything. One of his and Ann’s favorite pastimes was eating at the Peppermill Restaurant several times a week and teasing Cindy and Ashley and telling them his latest jokes. Butch was the dear brother of Marie Antoinette Robier and her husband Jay, and Fern Elyse Thomas and her husband Steve and the late David Dodd; beloved grandfather of Timothy Martin Hollenshade, Jr., Kelly Ann Hollenshade, and Chad Martin Hollenshade; devoted great grandfather of Garrett Martin Hollenshade (21 months old) and Carter Patrick Hollenshade (4 months old); also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.
