On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, Nancy L. Jones, 92, passed away. She was the beloved wife of Robert H. Jones for 73 years; loving mother of The Rev. Sharon Watts, rector of Grace Episcopal Church in New Market, MD and her late husband Herber Watts, and Robert Mark Harvey Jones, owner and director of the Baltimore School for Drumming; cherished grandmother of Jennifer Watts and great grandmother of Lena Helen Watts; dear sister of Shirley Makin and John A. Smith; also survived by other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road), Timonium, MD 21093 on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 6pm until 8 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 12400 Manor Road, Glen Arm, MD 21057 on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 12 Noon. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
