On July 9, 2023, John Harrison Debaugh died after a long, well fought battle with bladder cancer. John was predeceased by his father J. Harrison Debaugh and mother Agnes Topper Debaugh. He is survived by a cousin Jane Randlett. After high school, John entered the world of mechanical engineering and machinery repair, finishing his career as a machinist and truck frame specialist. A self-taught machinist, John would create, repair, and improve any project he touched. John liked to go fast and did so in boating, motorcycling, and competitive auto racing. John was an avid hunter and trapshooter. A generous man who would help anyone, he will be missed by many, especially his cat family.
A visitation for John will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc., 10 West Padonia Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093. A prayer service will occur Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home followed by a graveside service 12:30 PM at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21229.
