Marvin Ward Albaugh was born in a prairie cabin near Philipsburg, Kansas. He was the youngest of the family, preceded in death by his sister Betty (Albaugh) Keef, and Blaine Albaugh.
His life was filled with faith, family and friends. He married Betty Grace Scott, who preceded him in death, and they raised 5 children, 16 grand-children and 20 great-grands. They enjoyed 60 years together.
WW2 service in the US Army took him to the Pacific, serving in the Philippines, New Guinea and Japan.
Always active in church, community and service to his country; his faith was the sustaining strength of his life in the good and the hard times.
He passed with dignity and grace on August 26th, 2011 of natural causes, two days before his birthday. His life verse is taken from that date, 8:28 from the book of Romans.
We love you Dad.
